Opalescent glass became popular in between 1880s and 1920. Decorative glass makers like Lalique, Joblings made pieces of glassware that features this stunning glass, part crystalised in the cooling process to give it its opalescent look. The glass shine blue or green depending on the direction of the light.
Handmade on a fine silver bezel pendant and suspended on a sterling silver chain. The pendant design features a hand textured design, each mark as been individually made by hand and a fine silver setting, with a secret hand engraved heart on the back. Encapsulating a gorgeous piece of antique English sea glass, beautiful opalescent colours when the light hits it.
The sea glass is approximately 18mm by 12mm, the pendant measures 25mm by 25mm.
