April 19/26th Silver Thumb Ring Workshop

Time & Location Saturday 19th April and 26th 2025, 11:00 – 14:00/15:00 Saltburn Gallery & Studio, 30-32 Marske Road, Saltburn, TS12 1QG About the event We will be spending the afternoon making a wide and adjustable sterling silver ring, perfect but not exclusively for the thumb. You will learn how to find your ring size, how to measure and cut the silver, how to shape, texture and polish your ring. You'll have the opportunity to play with hammers and stamps to add your desired textures and patterns to your ring to really make it your own! You will come away with a beautifully made, bespoke ring ready to show off! All tools and materials will be provided, all you need to do is turn up, ready to get making. The class is great for beginners or if you've already done a little jewellery making. We'll take it slowly and the group will be small so you can ask lots of questions.
